This consortium is made up Community Colleges across the state that train people for the $6 Billion dollar racing industry in North Carolina. They teach race car technology, engine building, fabrication, painting, manufacturing, promotion and management skills. It is a teaching tool used to show effective communications strategies for all people, especially people with disabilities. It is used in workplace training, small and large group settings. | Dental Hygiene: Early Oral Health This video was produced for the North Carolina Oral Health Section. It is aimed at teaching parents about the importance of early oral health care for their children. It’s aimed at parents with infants to three years old. It helps parents understand they are not alone in the challenges they face with keeping their children’s teeth and gums clean.  Click on images to watch video The NC Scenic Byways videos were produced for the NC Department of Public Instruction and the NC Department of Transportation to assist fourth grade teachers in instructing their students about the land, history and culture of North Carolina. These beautiful videos highlight the sites along the Scenic Byway. The videos are perfect stand-alone programs, but they also accompanied Teaching Guides sent to teachers across the state that include lessons specifically tied to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for fourth grade. |
| Mirror Cracked, Exploitation, Neglect and Abuse of Persons with Disabilities This award-winning video was produced for the Governor’s Advocacy Council for Persons with Disabilities. It is used to help caregivers and family members recognize exploitation, neglect and abuse of persons with disabilities, especially when it takes place in care facilities. The park’s unique layout-- which features ultra steep gorges and inclines with breathtaking waterfalls, and vistas—isn’t as accessible as most of North Carolina State Parks.
