Map & Driving Directions

APT is located at 116 W. Jones Street, Suite G-102 in the Department of Administration Building. The Administration Building is a large, five-story, white building across Salisbury Street from the Legislature. Guests during the day can park in the Visitor parking deck off McDowell Street.

After office hours, guests may park behind the Administration Building in any space. Ring the doorbell on the left of the doorway marked "OPEN/net." A staff member will be there shortly to let you in.

COMING FROM WEST
From I-40

• Take Exit 289 - Wade Avenue. Travel on Wade Avenue for approximately 6 miles.
• Make a right onto the Southbound Capitol Boulevard ramp towards downtown. Get into left lane.
• Go straight through the first light and get into the far left lane.
• At second light, take a left onto West Jones Street. Travel one block.
• Take a left at first light onto McDowell Street. Follow straight across Lane Street and turn right into the Visitor’s Parking Deck #2.

• Take Exit 298 - South Saunders Street. South Saunders turns into McDowell Street. Continue on McDowell Street.
• Pass Edenton Street, pass Jones Street, pass Lane Street and turn right into the Visitor’s Parking Deck #2.

• 64 becomes New Bern Avenue in the vicinity of Tower Shopping Center (on right).
• Continue on New Bern Avenue past Wake Medical Center (on left).
• After several miles, New Bern Avenue becomes one way, and changes names again to Edenton Street (one way, westbound).
• Stay on Edenton Street for several blocks, crossing Person and Blount Streets.
• One block past Blount Street, turn right onto Wilmington Street (one way, northbound).
• Travel on Wilmington Street for two blocks, crossing Jones Street.
• Turn left onto Lane Street (one way, westbound).
• Cross Salisbury Street and turn right onto McDowell Street. On the right is Visitor’s Parking Deck #2.
