High Risk Health Insurance

Printer Friendly Version

If you or someone you care about can’t afford health insurance because of a pre-existing health condition, you need to tune in to OPEN/net Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Last year, the state’s lawmakers created Inclusive Health, North Carolina’s Health Insurance Risk Pool, to help meet the insurance needs of people who lack health insurance. Some people may have lost coverage because they exhausted their COBRA continuation coverage after they left a job; some people may have lost a job and the coverage it afforded because of the effects of international trade. Inclusive Health is the focus of this edition of OPEN/net.
