The state’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is charged with helping people who have physical, psychiatric or intellectual disabilities become more independent and job-ready by providing counseling, training, education, transportation or other services. And there are a variety of organizations across North Carolina that partner with the state and local communities to help provide other family-centered services. On this edition of OPEN/net we’re going to talk about services that can help people and their families get back in the game, when a traumatic injury sends them to the sidelines.
