When the General Election occurs on November 4, 2008, almost 6 million voters in North Carolina will have the opportunity to share in their government when they go to the polls to choose city, state and federal officials. Every candidate participating in statewide elections has been offered a half hour on OPEN/net to connect with the citizens of North Carolina. The OPEN/net programs you sponsor can reach your constituency in a variety of ways. Each Tuesday from 8-10 p.m., OPEN/net airs on cable systems that serve more than 400 communities across the state. You can also access live streaming video of OPEN/net on your broadband connection via a Windows Media player.
