HIT- Health Information Technology

HIT or Health Information Technology is the digitalization of patient records for easy exchange and archiving but obstacles like cost have delayed its implementation. Currently federal and state entities are collaborating to overcome the barriers to HIT implementation and make this beneficial technology a reality in North Carolina.
