There are over 2 million children in
the state of North Carolina, 20% of which live below the poverty line
and many others whose parents cannot afford adequate health care.
The Child Health Report Card is an annual report that looks at the state
of child health care in North Carolina. The findings are then published
to raise awareness among policy makers, healthcare providers and the general
public. On this edition of OPEN/net, we will look at the results of this
year's report and what it means for families in North Carolina.
