North Carolina’s educators, business leaders and public education advocates all agree on the gravity of the state’s dropout rate. Even with recent statistical improvements, about one out of twenty high school students will fail to stay in school and graduate with his or her classmates. On this upcoming edition of Parents and Schools on OPEN/net, we are discussing the statewide collaborative effort to keep kids in school.
